I have moved quite a bit & therefore been registered at several doctors, this has been the best practice so far.. They are very efficient as a service, the reception team are friendly giving appropriately timed appointments & enabling communication with a doctor if advice is needed.. The doctors and nurses are very & professional yet warm & always offer a good explanations during consultations, something I've found lacking elsewhere.. I also have my 3 children registered here & have never felt like I've been fobbed off or condicended in regards to any questions or worries I have had again something I have experienced elsewhere.. I am really happy with this surgery & have full confidence in the team as a whole.

from the 1st patient intake process to the daily appointments the staff show respect as well as concern and treat you like a person not a number. We have always been greeted with a smile and "how can I help you?" and every time we have seen a practitioner whether it is a nurse for blood pressure test or a DR for something more serious you feel comfortable and well treated.

Whilst I sympathise with the receptionists, and they try to be helpful and fit you in as quickly as possible, it is still frustrating to have to wait such a long time to actually get an appointment to see the doctor. I also find it annoying that the computerised system that is completed by the doctor does not, in my opinion, give sufficient options. Thurrock is considered a deprived area but I don't feel deprived and would like to have this element changeable depending on the patients opinion. However, I do appreciate the fact that the doctors accept that I don't want to take prescription drugs and allow me to seek alternative remedies.
